Slow Cooker Spit Pea Soup
1 lbs. dry split peas
1 medium onion (chopped)
3 tsp chopped garlic
1 cup chopped carrots
½ cup chopped celery
1 Tbsp. B&V Tuscan Herb olive oil
3 tsp. s.a.l.t. sisters pink Himalayan salt
3 tsp. Bourbon Barrel Smoked Black Pepper
1 ½ cup chopped ham
4-6 cups chicken broth
Place ingredients into crockpot (slow cooker), cover and allow to cook 2-6 hours or to desired consistency of peas are met.
